John Hatley Sutton O.D. received his bachelor degrees in Health Sciences and Chemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno and the Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University in Oregon. Dr. Sutton is a board-certified Optometric Physician, and is currently pursuing the Master of Public Health in Epidemiology degree. Serving as Clinic Director of Sutton Eye and Vision in Reno, Nevada from 1978 to 2021, he now works as a Clinical Associate at Nevada Vision Group in Reno and as Director of Ocular Services for William Bee Ririe Hospital, Eureka Rural Clinic in Eureka, Nevada. Areas of special interest are anterior segment disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, ocular emergency management and ocular surgery co-management. Dr. Sutton is a lifelong Nevada Resident. He is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel.

Call the Main Hospital Number, (775) 289-3001, then press Ext. 211.
How can I get my Medical Records?
Provide us with your email address when you check in at Admitting and you can access your records through the Patient Portal. Or you can email a request to set up the Patient Portal to: patientportal@wbrhely.org .Call our Medical Records staff at (775) 289-3612 Ext. 108 and they will prepare them for you. Then you can pick them up at the Hospital during normal business hours.
When is the Clinic open?
The Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
