EVS Technician / Housekeeper (Casual/Per Diem)

Responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining patient rooms, clinical areas, restrooms, and public spaces in accordance with infection‑control standards. Performs daily, weekly, and discharge cleaning; handles trash and hazardous waste; restocks supplies; and transports clean and soiled linens. Supports room setups, furniture moves, and maintains proper chemical usage and storage. Works collaboratively with staff, patients, and visitors to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must pass drug test, physical requirements.

Individual will perform routine claim follow-up and resolve straightforward billing issues while building payer knowledge and productivity skills. Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to Medicare, Medicaid and Insurance companies. Will work with Account Maintenance. Work aged accounts and rejected/denied claims by correcting deficiencies and when necessary, submit claim appeals. Comply with CMS and insurance rules and regulations plus keep abreast of new updates. Process Medicare and Medicaid credit balance reports. Have ability to interpret EOBs.

Qualifications:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and evaluations.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program required.
• Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the State of Nevada required, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Experience in outpatient behavioral health, integrated care, rural healthcare, or community mental health preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Come join our team of 2 Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapist in our community in rural Nevada at Summit Therapy. We provide outpatient and inpatient therapy at William Bee Ririe Hospital - a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital in Ely, NV.

We have a modern 2400 square foot gym and adjacent therapy pool where we provide therapy to a variety of patients from 3 months old to over 100 years old. We have a 90% outpatient to 10% inpatient mix and treat orthopedics, sports medicine, neuro, pediatrics, vertigo, and wound care.

We pride ourselvels in providing direct services to our patients and do not employ therapy aides. All of our clinicals are also Clinical Instructors and we occasionally have doctoral students on staff. This position is responsible for a high level of technical knowledge and application of that knowledge to department testing, clinical relevance, and complex problem solving skills. This position serves as a department resource, and is responsible for assisting with department compliance with all pertinent laboratory accrediting agency and regulatory requirements (e.g., JCAHO, HIPAA, CLIA, CAP, OSHA). Ability to function in all areas of the laboratory: blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and serology/immunology. Responsible for high-complexity testing. Perform quality control procedures and instrument check efficiently. Notify patient care unit and/or physician of critical lab values. Maintain accurate laboratory records on procedures performed. Ability to take direction and assimilate instructions quickly. Computer Skills required with Microsoft Office.

Regulatory Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science preferred. Five-years' Experience. Registry as American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP). Required to hold General Supervisor License with the State of Nevada.
