The Housekeeper cleans, sanitizes and provides customer service to all patients and staff. Performs daily, weekly, project, and discharge cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, and restrooms. Follows all infection control procedures, including hand washing techniques and standard and isolation precautions. Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedures. Maintains a good working knowledge of chemicals and proper storage. Performs room set-ups and moves furniture if needed. Collects and transports trash and hazardous waste to the appropriate disposal area. Performs linen (clean and soiled) runs using proper equipment. The Emergency Tech performs duties under the general supervision of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse and Provider. The role is supportive relative to the care of patients in the Emergency Department. The Emergency Tech communicates directly with providers, RNs, patients, patient’s families, and other caregivers. Full-Time Emergency Medicine Physician

· Seeking full-time rural emergency medicine physician for critical-access hospital.

Responsibilities and Duties

Perform triage on incoming patients to become part of the ER’s current load

· Oversee patient care, treatment, and recovery

· Clear patients for discharge or further procedures with specialists

A Respiratory Therapist works in a hospital environment to provide physicians with assistance related to respiratory therapy. Requirements: Current CRT or RRT license (Nevada), current BLS and ACLS with PALS and NRP obtained within six months of hire, demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to care for patients, and current Nevada Blood Technologist or General Supervisor License (or must apply for gas technologist license within 30 days of hire).

One year as a RT in a hospital setting preferred, ER and L&D experience preferred. This position will include weekends and call.

This position is responsible for a high level of technical knowledge and application of that knowledge to department testing, clinical relevance, and complex problem solving skills. This position serves as a department resource, and is responsible for assisting with department compliance with all pertinent laboratory accrediting agency and regulatory requirements (e.g., JCAHO, HIPAA, CLIA, CAP, OSHA). Ability to function in all areas of the laboratory: blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and serology/immunology. Responsible for high-complexity testing. Perform quality control procedures and instrument check efficiently. Notify patient care unit and/or physician of critical lab values. Maintain accurate laboratory records on procedures performed. Ability to take direction and assimilate instructions quickly. Computer Skills required with Microsoft Office.

Regulatory Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science preferred. Five-years' Experience. Registry as American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP). Required to hold General Supervisor License with the State of Nevada.
