Occupational Therapy Services Coming to William Bee Ririe Hospital
Beginning Monday August 1st , Summit Therapy Services will be bringing Occupational Therapy services to the Hospital. Local girl, Bailey Moore has graduated with her Masters degree from the University of Utah Occupational Therapy Program. She is now licensed in the State of Nevada as an Occupational Therapist. We are thrilled to welcome her to the Summit Therapy family of services.
Bio: Bailey was raised in White Pine County, graduating from White Pine High School in 2013. She attended Utah Valley University where she earned her Bachelors degree in exercise science in 2017. Bailey then attended the University of Utah Masters of Occupational Therapy program, graduating in May of 2022. While a member of the program, she completed a Level II fieldwork at the Life Skills Clinic, a University of Utah affiliate pediatric clinic specializing in sensory processing, feeding disorders, autism spectrum disorders, physical disabilities and general development delays. She also completed a second Level II fieldwork at the University of Utah Neilson Rehabilitation hospital, working specifically with the traumatic brain injury team, focusing on the physical and cognitive effects of TBI, as well as community reintegration following hospitalization.
