Covid-19 Update 6/30/2022

Current numbers in White Pine County have been difficult to track due to the wide availability of home tests.

However, there is an increase in cases.

June 2022 to date: The Hospital has had a 14.9% positive rate. 30 positive/ 201 tested.

Hospitalized: Have had 3 cases during the month of June.

Outpatient: Multiple people have received Paxlovid to help them get over Covid more easily. Paxlovid is an antiviral medication that increases the body's ability to fight against the virus.

Vaccine Boosters:

Boosters are recommended for those over the age of 50 and those with underlying health conditions which would make them more susceptible to illness.

Vaccines are available for children down to the age of 6 months.

The hospital has access to all the current treatment medications available.

Sick? Please stay home for a 5 day quarantine and avoid crowds.
