Quarantine: CDC updated the isolation /quarantine period to 5 days from a positive test or 5 days from the onset of symptoms. As long as the positive person's health is improving and they are fever free for the last 24 hours. At the end of the 5 day period, you should wear a mask for an additional 5 days as you return to normal activity.
Should household members quarantine?
Vaccinated household members: Should wear a mask and test 5 days later or sooner if symptoms develop, but are able to continue with normal activity.
Unvaccinated household members: Should quarantine / isolate for 5 days, test on day 5 or sooner if symptoms develop.
Are vaccinations effective? Vaccines are still the most proven way to avoid severe disease and hospitalization.
Where can I get a test? Tests are currently in short supply, however you can order tests right to your home @ https://www.covidtests.gov/
