What's new with quarantine? CDC updated the isolation/quarantine period to 5 days from a positive test or 5 days from onset of symptoms.

This applies as long as the positive person's health is improving and they are fever free for the last 24 hours. At the end of the 5 day period, you

should wear a mask for an additional 5 days as you return to normal activity.

Should household members quarantine?

Vaccinated household members: Should wear a mask, and test 5 days later or sooner if symptoms develop, but are able to continue with normal activity.

Unvaccinated household members: Should quarantine/isolate for 5 days, then test on day 5 or sooner if symptoms develop.

Are vaccinations effective? Vaccines are still the most proven way to avoid severe disease and hospitalization.

Where can I get a test/vaccine?

Economy Drug, Ridley's pharmacy, County Health Nurse, and William Bee Ririe Hospital provide testing, vaccinations, and boosters.

Please reach out to these great places who are working hard to keep us all healthy.
